We are fireflies!

A pack of youth working with children ,Youth and New Media.

We care children.We have concern for youth too.Also we are working on the potential of New Media.

A few years back a group of friends came together and initiated it all.

Well, that was the begining.Later more people came in. Of course, that was great.

So over the past 5 years we have developed many a programmes and specific projects for children and youth.

They include, but not limited to:

* Campaigning for child rights,

* life skill training

* children’s media

* Youth entrepreneurship development on media and tourism

* Mobilizing youth on the cause peace, citizenship,, rights and equality issues, environment, development and education

Fireflies got registered as a charitable organsiation in 2005 (Er.190/05).There are at present 28 members in Fireflies.The organisation is guided by 9- member Board of Management and other bunch consultants from different walks of life.
